Earlier this week, I had the wonderful experience to co-train a PCIT Advanced Training in Philadelphia. I made a road trip out of it, listening to classical music the entire time while enjoying the beautiful changes in landscape along the way. When I arrived and checked in to my hotel, I discovered I was lucky enough to have this amazing view of Philadelphia's city hall!

I was extremely fortunate to co-train alongside Dr. Kristen Schaffner, a PCIT International Certified Level II (Regional) Trainer. We spent Monday- Wednesday working on advanced coaching skills, role-playing challenging clinical situations, and making sure trainees passed integrity checks. Most rewarding  for me as a trainer was watching the rapid development of trainees' skills. It was a fun and inspiring few days. Check out the photos below for moments from the training days. I am fully enjoying the training process toward obtaining my Level II certification, as I get to work with different trainers to further inform and develop my own skills as a trainer.

I'm a bit late to the game posting this, but better late than never! I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to co-train a Basic PCIT Training and a Level I Trainer Course with PCIT International Master Trainer, Amy Herschell, Ph.D., during the first week of December. It was simply awesome to see how much work she has done to broadly disseminate PCIT throughout the state of Pennsylvania, as all of the trainees in the Basic Training came from agencies with PCIT already in place due to Dr. Herschell's efforts. I feel honored to have her as one of my mentors as I work on my requirements to become a Level II Trainer. Here are some photos from the training... lots of role-playing with fun toys!
